Dangerous Block of the Month

I am enjoying this block of the month very much! I’m happy that my blocks are coming out beautifully! I’m more confident now having sewn so many small pieces with everything lining up . This series is also a good skill builder. I’m so happy I participated!

Enjoying the Ride

I’ve been loving doing these blocks (7 so far). I especially appreciate how they are allowing me to dip into my Bonnie Hunter scrap saver system pieces in constructing them.

“Dangerous”has been so much fun!

I am so happy that my friend in the Inland Northwest Modern Quilt Guild told me about this BOM! We are doing it together and it will be fun to see how the two turn out. I have loved making each block and look forward to the last Tuesday of each month to make my new block. The directions have been clear and easy to follow, even when I changed things up a bit. The fact that it was free was a real gift. Thank you Gudrun! It is also nice to have a new bunch of mystery recommendations to listen to while I work. Thank you so much!

Dangerous block of the month

It’s been fun to do this block with what I have around the house. They are not difficult and fun to anticipate each month. This is what I have so far. Thanks. Wendy

Dangerous BOM

I have been enjoying this BOM. The blocks are each unique, fun and sometimes a little challenging. It makes me happy to be finally using up some of my scrapes and I looking for to the end results.

Fun fun fun

These Dangerous Detective blocks are so ez to put together—just follow the pictures and go one step at a time. And I have made out of scrap fabric I have on hand. They are each unique like little puzzle pieces. I even listened to a Nikki Heat book while I made her block. I’ve been really enjoying this project.

Great stash buster!

Although I am not normally attracted to patterns that use lots of little pieces, I decided to do this one as I had what I considered just the right collection of small remnants. So far it has been fun going through my collected remnants (Australian Aboriginal fabrics), deciding which ones to use, and hoping that I will have enough of a particular remnant for the segment! Here are the first 4 - need to spend some time on block 5, maybe tomorrow.

Dangerous

Its a fun scrappy BOM . One block a month isn't hard to do with another on-going quilt project. I like being able to use all the different little pieces I've accumulated over the years.

Loving the challenge. It makes me really think on what color and how to cut the pieces. I’m using left over Aboriginal fabric from another project.

Dangerous project

Thank you for the free pattern and BOM program. I am enjoying making these blocks. It looks like a lot of small pieces but it hasn't been hard to put them together. Watching the monthly video instruction is also helpful.
