15lb Fill-A-Box - FAB Program

Stop paying shipping every time you buy fabric.
Fill-A-Box is a prepaid shipping program. Buy a 15lb box, fill it with your orders over time, and we ship the whole thing for one flat fee. Built for quilters who want to save on shipping.
How it works:
- Buy your 15lb Fill-A-Box on its own. Checkout with just the box in your cart. We just need one order to set up your personal box in our warehouse.
- After checkout, your box is created in our warehouse and labeled with your name. Shipping on this order is free.
- Place future orders anytime and select "Ship with My FAB Box" at checkout. We add eligible items to your box at no extra shipping cost.
- Keep filling. We hold everything in our warehouse until your box is ready to ship.
Your 15lb Fill-A-Box ships when:
- It reaches 15 lbs
- 55 days have passed since you purchased the box
- It's physically full (sometimes items don't weigh a lot, but take up a lot of space)
- You contact us and ask us to ship it
Important:
- Buy your Fill-A-Box on its own order, nothing else in the cart. That's how we create your box and unlocks the "Ship with My FAB Box" option on your future orders.
- Any future "Add to Fab Box" purchases will automatically be linked to that same email address.
- Continental U.S. only (no Alaska or Hawaii).
- Larger items (Stripology XL and Squared rulers, cutting mats, wool pressing mats), pre-order items, and subscriptions (Color Club, Bundle Club, etc.) don't qualify for FAB shipping. They'll ship separately at standard rates.
- You'll get emails from GE Designs for updates to your box and its contents. When we add items or ship your box, the update comes from there. It's expected, not spam.
📦 What Is a FAB Box?
The FAB (Fill-A-Box) program lets you save on shipping by grouping multiple GE Designs orders into one flat-rate box.
We store your personal box in our warehouse and continue adding your eligible orders until it’s ready to ship — so you pay shipping once instead of on every order.
🧵 How You Fill Your Box
- Purchase your FAB Box by itself and select a shipping option (do not choose local pickup).
- After checkout, we create and label your personal FAB Box in our warehouse.
- Place new orders anytime and select “Ship with My FAB Box” at checkout.
- We add each order to your box automatically.
🚚 When Your Box Ships
Your FAB Box ships automatically when any one of the following happens:
- It reaches the box’s weight limit
- The box is physically full
- 55 days have passed since the box was created
- You contact us and request shipment
You’re always in control — ship sooner if you’d like.
📏 Size, Weight & Shipping Details
- Small FAB Box capacity: 15, 20 or 30lbs depending on the box you choose
- Shipping region: Continental U.S. only (no Alaska or Hawaii)
Your box is packed carefully to maximize space while keeping everything safe.
🚫 What Can’t Go in a FAB Box
Some items are not eligible for the FAB program, including:
- Oversized items that don’t fit safely in the box
(large rulers, cutting mats, large lighting, some irons, large battings, etc.) - Pre-order items
- Subscription programs (Bundle Club, Color Club)
If an order includes ineligible items, it will ship immediately with standard shipping.

Was hesitant about ordering a fabric box, don't know why, because I really loved it! This box was filled more quickly with Gudruns sale fabrics but I really felt like I could shop here and there,checking on patterns and my stash to see what would be useful and ordering what I felt I needed without being concerned about a small order and how much postage a small order would be. I will definitely be using a fab box again.
I liked it, but I would like to see it last for three months, to be able to find more variety available to purchase.

I liked the idea of paying one shipping cost instead of multiples. I wasn't in a great hurry for the fabric so waiting for it was just fine. I would have liked to have known periodically how much weight I had into the box instead of waiting until just before it shipped to know the weight. Great idea of one box though!

Box was too big. It took too lobg to fill snd i woukd firget what i bought. I ended up only get 17lbs. I just had no idea his much fabric was in 30 lbs. maybe give an estimate. 1lb of fabric is ??? Yards.
All the mystery bags were great colors. It’s always nice to get a color you have not worked with its beautiful and can’t wait to start something.

I like to order fabrics when I see them because if I wait they may be unobtainable, so the FAB BOX program is the way to go! It saves on shipping and I usually don't need the fabrics right away, they will go in my stash for planned projects needing "fleshing out." And I don't lose out on the chance to own some fabulous fabrics.

I like the idea. I think I chose the wrong sized box because I had no idea what I might order or the quantities- since I don’t typically think of fabric by weight, and some quilting cottons weigh more than others.

The deep discount on this fab box during a recent sale was such a treat for me. I am on a fixed budget and have not been able to pay shipping on each order so my purchases have been very limited. Being able to add the new bundles to the fab box without the added expense of the shipping costs resulted in a significant savings. Money spent of fabric versus shipping is always a win.

It was like getting Christmas presents because I had forgotten some of what I had ordered. I loved it. Also the small FAB was bigger than I expected.

FAB boxes are so much fun and they save you so much money! They’re what i call “no-brainers!” I always get the small FAB box, currently costing $22.99, and it comes packed with quilting goodies. You pay for the box when you order it, and when it’s full, or, if 2 months have gone by since you placed your FAB order, that box with all of those glorious items ships what feels like for “free”, since that $22.99 has already been paid. As I open each new box, it’s so exciting to see what’s tucked inside. It’s like such a precious gift I give myself! I just received my latest box, and it contained 4 GE bundles, 3 different large plastic bags filled with assorted 1 yd fabric selections to go with those bundles, and a panel. Imagine how much postage that would have cost me if each of these orders had shipped separately as I placed each one, with multiple shipping costs per order! But grouping them all together into a single container, and later sent to me all in one package, saves me a fortune in postage costs!! As I said, it’s a “NO-BRAINER”!!! Thank you GE for all offering this cost-saving program!! I absolutely LOVE IT!! ❤️❤️❤️
The Fill A Box (FAB) Program has saved me a lot of money. It never fails when I have already placed an order, I think of a 1 yard that I meant to include. With the FAB Program, its no big deal. I just add it to my FAB.
