I enjoyed making this quilt. I felt a bit hesitant at the point where the completed blocks are staggered, but it honestly was quite easy and effective at the end. I liked the version where some quilters did not stagger the blocks just as well. This is a fun quilt to make and is a large block for using those larger fabrics!

This makes a great -looking quilt, but requires unnecessarily awkward methods to achieve the look. Much better to make square in a square blocks than cut and piece on the diagonal, IMO.
