Gudrun Erla is a world-renowned quilt designer, author, and teacher, and the creative force behind GE Designs.
She is the inventor of the Stripology rulers and Stripology techniques, which has helped thousands of quilters simplify cutting and speed up their sewing.

Made the quilt easy
I ordered this kit to be used in a prize drawing. I recently gave a demo/trunk show of my Stripology projects and it caused a demand for classes and desire to make Stripology projects in my Quilt Guild.
I saw this design on Pinterest and tracked it down to this book. It's beautiful, masterful pattern. There are others in the book worth checking out as well.
I absolutely love how my attempt at Frankie for the first time came out. Going to do this pattern again for sure. Up next Jojo with Valentine inspired fabrics. I also did Winny but wasn't happy with the way she turned out. The white fabric I used as the background was cheap and flimsy so I will attempt to make that one again using better quality fabric. I have two more Stripology books on the way. I can't wait for them to arrive. These patterns are so inspiring.
The Frankie pattern was easy to make. I used only fabrics from my stash and it is stunning.
I bought the book because I saw a finished Wanda quilt that my friend had made. Hers was in the blues, closer to the book image and I couldn't wait for my book to arrive. I did mine in fall flannels for my queen size bed. Amazing that its done using 5" squares! Goes together like a dream! Looking forward to trying something else from the book. Great job!!!

I have three of the four stripology rulers and use them with almost every project. This book is a must have if you want to step up your cutting game. Stripology rulers take a fraction of the time using typical rulers. Improved accuracy. Odd sizes no problem. Diagonals no problem. This book is basically a cheat sheet for cuts so that you can get the most out of your rulers. I keep it in my ruler rack, always handy.

Its great, I am practicing and I have found the numbers confusing somewhat. I also learned my 60 mm does fit in the slots if I hold it almost straight up, and If I use my little 28mm, fits but is easy to ride up on the ruler..so far

There are several of the quilts I want to make. Straight forward instructions and the illustrations.
I found that the Stripology rulers have opened up a whole new way to better cut/aligh/center the fabric. I have taken two classes through local shop and certified Stripology teacher. I have now purchased all rulers and will now make these my primary cutting tools. Looking forward to trying out their patterns, too. Currently working on the Nova pattern.

This is my first GE book and I'm impressed with the book, patterns, and layout. Spiral bound, simple directions with dimensions and a QR code for more detailed directions allows for more patterns. And beautiful photography. I'm looking forward to making a number of quilts from this book.

Amazing quilt patterns and the instructions are very good and understandable. I have the XL stripology ruler so I really love the instructions for use with the ruler. I now have 3 of her books 💕
