Strips & Salsa Quilt Along - Video Class & PDF Pattern

All the quilt alongs put on by GE Designs are done very well. This quilt is very fun and simple to make. It is probably going to be a repeat pattern for me.

Having fun with the strip along, even got myself a T-shirt from MR HP sway.

I so enjoy the video classes! I always pick up new tips that improve my quilting. So worth it!

First time I attended any of Gudrun's events and it was great! The pattern looked harder than it actually was, thanks to the very clear instructions and wonderful videos! I bought the Stripology XL ruler after watching her cutting video and I'm never going back to a regular ruler. I've already signed up for the Jumbo-Laya BOM and look forward to participating in future events. Thank you for a wonderful pattern and a fun day!

Well, I can’t say I’ve finished any quilt, but the interaction with other quilters is giving me sanity during my difficult time in life. Finishing is not my goal right now but a chance to look, feel, select fabric, see what others are doing on same project, takes me rapidly out of my life into another much needed space. GE Designs and Stripology rulers make my attempts so much more precise, that I’m proud for what I can do.

This is a fun and easy quilt to make. Went together rather quickly.

I used this pattern for a Care Quilt. My guild supplied the fabrics, and I added a few from GE Designs. I didn't have enough fabrics to allow me to shift the rows without creating a wave, but I love how it's turning out! It's ready for final assembly :)

I used Moda Grunge and Tula Pink for a new grandma's first granddaughter. She loved it. I really enjoyed the quilt along, it remined me of the Elivra, when I first found you all in the dark early days of the Pandemic, the beginning of a wonderful friendship!

A fabulous and entertaining way to get a quilt done. Jolee is a fun and unique pattern and doesn’t waste fabric. GE Designs produces many informative and easy to follow patterns and videos. The quilt along format in the process was the first time I’ve done this and it was a lot of fun to participate. It was a great experience!

Class was excellent. I was not happy with the fabric bundle I selected or the pattern. This pattern probably looks better in a bundle with more contrast. I planned the layout to add contrast but when the rows were adjusted that defeated the purpose. I also wish I would have chosen a different contrast.

This was an interesting but easy pattern, and the video class helped me visualize the directions even more. Really enjoyed this one!

Gudrun always has the best quilt-a-longs and Jolee was good, too. I love the way my black and white quilt turned out. I'm a big Kaffe fan and liked that I could easily incorporate several of his prints into this quilt. I fond my blocks always turn out better when I follow a GE designs tutorial and use my XL ruler.

The hardest part of this pattern was the small square section as my ruler is old and does not have all the markings the pattern calls for. Love how it turned out!

I love all things Stripology and look forward to Gudrun's future creations, tips, and events.

I totally enjoyed the pattern and video classes for making the Jolee quilt. Since I’ve become more proficient in using the stripology rulers, and techniques, my excitement in quilt making has reached a higher level. I prefer to use the stripology rulers instead of regular ones all the time now. Game changer!

Really enjoyed making Jolee, I will definitely make another one.

I just loved making this quilt!! It is so easy and the design is great. I definitely watched the videos to assist me along the way. Gudrun's hints are so user friendly

The Dina pattern was fun to make. My niece wanted black so I did black for the blocks and white for the slashes. It is a very striking quilt and looks 3D. I love the video classes. I feel like Gudrun is giving me a personal lesson. Her tips for cutting and trimming are very helpful. I am working my way through the quickies book using up some of my stash.

I am smitten with this design, I’ve completed two and a third in the works! Great beginner quilt, looks so fresh and modern.directions easy to follow and so convenient to print out a PDF at home and start a project right away. Also have the Stripology XL, an amazing tool I didn’t know I needed 😉
