Little Matryoshka or ‘Little Matron’ in English is the name for these brightly colored nesting dolls. Mostly hand-painted, these darling dollies are decorated in a folk art style, taking inspiration from Lewis & Irene’s own set of Matryoshka dolls that they brought home from St Petersburg.
