Give a block a purpose
One block makes a NICU quilt
A single block finishes at exactly the size neonatal intensive care units need. Quilters across the country coordinate donations to their local NICUs, and they have shared their details so you can send one directly.
Before you send
- Email your chosen volunteer first so they know a quilt is coming, and get their mailing address.
- Wash and dry the quilt before shipping. Hospitals require clean donations.
- Check any size or material requirements listed under that volunteer’s name.
- Use cotton, and skip embellishments.
