You've been patiently waiting - it's that time again! The 2023 Strip Along will feature the pattern Strip Twist! Sift through your fabric collection for 2-1/2" strips or see what suits your fancy in the GE Shop. This pattern was originally released in 2008 but it has been rewritten and revised with a second version of the pattern, specifically for this 2023 Strip Along. The revised pattern is stunning!

Here are two Strip Twist Quilts, it's always amazing how fabric choice completely changes the look of a pattern: 

And one quilt using the new layout, the strip blocks look like wheels with the corners 'rounded' - WOWZA:

Strip Twist 2.0 Pattern - This is the only pattern you'll need for the Strip Along. It's a pdf version which will be downloaded into your account, includes 6 sizes of original pattern quilts plus a crib and lap size version of the new layout! 

Strip Twist Pattern -  this is the paper pattern if you prefer that, it doesn't include instructions for the new layout.

Test your seam allowance and so you know how to achieve a dependable scant 1/4". 2. While you're sewing, don't look at your needle, look at the edge of your fabric against your presser foot for a straighter seam.

April 25 Part 2
