Strip Along starts April 6th!

Last year we did a "Strip Along" in my group Gudrun's Quilt Crew on Facebook. I picked an older pattern using 2-1/2" strips and picked totally different color combinations for a new version. Last year I chose the pattern Strip Maze. 

During my Friday Live videos, I gave tips and tricks how to use the Stripology rulers to make cutting and construction easier and I also gave some ideas for using the little leftovers for a bonus project. Each week we set a goal of finishing certain steps so we could all sew along side each other which was really fun. Here is my Strip Maze finished during the Strip Along.

The second Strip Along will kick off on Facebook Friday Live at 3pm central time, April 6th. This time I have chosen the Strip Down pattern. If you are not on Facebook, you can follow along right here. The pattern is written for 3 sizes but you can always add blocks to make a custom size.

I have chosen the below strips for my version which will be a small Twin.

I am using creams for my lights, grey for my mediums and then blues, greens and a touch of gold for my darks. I have a certain gentleman in mind for my quilt so I want it to be masculine.
